Professionalism in Social Media

The eBranding Me team is constantly told by Generation Y students, “Why is it important for me to learn about social media tools for my future success? I don’t have an online presence!” Little do they know, nearly all of their personal information and online activity can be found, conveniently organized on many websites.

People Search Engines, as they are commonly referred to as, have grown in popularity. Two that are particularly useful are Whozat and Pipl. There main purpose: to aggregate, organize and display individuals from social networks, blogs, photo and video sites and on the World Wide Web at the request of a user. Continue Reading »
